According to a statement issued on Tuesday on IIT Delhi website, the initiative will focus on advancing research in AI and cybersecurity, offering grants and fellowships for PhD and MTech students, supporting joint research with Cisco's global teams, and encouraging publication of white papers on technology policy and regulatory issues. The hub will also introduce continuing education programmes in collaboration with Cisco Networking Academy (NetAcad), specialised training for industry professionals, government departments and public sector undertakings, and short-term courses on emerging technologies and cybersecurity.
According to the announcement, the collaboration will organise security workshops, research forums and an annual Security and Trust Summit to promote dialogue among academia, industry and government on emerging digital technologies and cybersecurity challenges. IIT Delhi Dean (Corporate Relations) Prof.
